In the context of engines, the term "stroker" refers to an engine that has had its stroke increased, typically by using a crankshaft with a longer stroke. This modification increases the displacement of the engine, which can result in improved torque and horsepower. Stroker engines are often used in performance and racing applications to enhance the overall power output of the engine. In the case of your LS engine, the stroke is increased from 3.622” to 4.00”. As an example, the LS7 engine in the HSV W427 and C6 Corvette Z06 is a factory 7.0Lt engine and has a 4.00” stroke. The HPF Stroker engine package is a comprehensive upgrade that starts with our trained technicians designing and building you a new stroker engine package. 

In terms of engine displacement, your 5.7-litre will go to 6.2-litres or 383ci, your 6-litre will go to 6.6-litres or 402ci while your 6.2-litre engine will go to 6.8-litres or 416ci. Once completed, the new engine is fitted to your vehicle and we custom tune your vehicle's ECU on the dyno, utilizing the latest tuning software to maximize the power and torque of your new engine. We complete the upgrade process by testing your vehicle on the road to make final adjustments, optimizing your vehicle's performance and driveability. This is all completed in approximately 4 weeks and at the end of this upgrade we will provide you with a dyno graph detailing the power & torque increase of your vehicle.

This package is for customers who want to keep stock appearance under the hood for a variety of reasons including insurance, law enforcement and factory service issues. Other than a slightly aggressive idle* it is impossible to tell the difference from a standard engine externally, except when you drive it of course. These engines can be built to suit naturally aspirated applications or forced induction applications. We also offer aftermarket cylinder heads and manifolds from Higgins Race Heads and or aftermarket cylinder blocks such as the Dart LSnext SHP for all out boosted applications or up to 7.4 litre (454ci) aspirated engines.
