Fuel system upgrade – Performance upgrades in almost all cases involves allowing the engine to take in more air, each engine revolution – it could be via a supercharger or it could be simply removing restrictions in the intake and or exhaust, either way, the aim of the game is more air. In the early stages of performance, simply tuning the fuel system to match the added air is all that’s required, however once the fuel system can no longer flow the required amount of fuel, an upgrade is required. Typically, the first stage is larger fuel injectors followed by an upgraded fuel pump, this is all model and power dependent. Adding higher flow pumps and injectors does not mean your economy suffers as the extra fuel is only used as required, typically higher in the RPM band. HPF only uses high quality fuel system components typically found in OEM high-output vehicle variants – i.e. Dodge Hellcat, HSV GTS.

For example, 90% of the FS1200 components are precision machined from aerospace grade 6061-T6 billet aluminium & the lightweight fuel bucket is designed using best practice engineering principles and stress tested to ensure safety for all motorsport applications. Due to the complexity and the high degree of engineering involved, the lower section of the surge tank is injection moulded with a proprietary super thick, durable and super strong composite fuel (unleaded, race, ethanol) resistance grade of aerospace plastic used by only the most advanced super car manufacturers.
